Welcome Centre

Rainbow District School Board has a Welcome Centre for newcomers.

The Welcome Centre assists families with the registration process and the transition to a new school.

All newcomers looking to register their children in Rainbow Schools can make an appointment to receive support with the registration process.

Welcome Centre appointments will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10 am and 2 pm.

Location: The Welcome Centre is located at Sudbury Secondary School at the Davidson Street entrance.

Registration

To prepare for registration, please ensure that you bring the following documents to your appointment at the Welcome Centre:

  • A valid passport
  • Birth certificate
  • Immunization record
  • Proof of residency (For example: a rental agreement or utility bill with your name and address)
  • Previous school transcripts
  • Documentation of parent’s status in Canada
